We operate an open-door policy. Parents/Caregivers do not have to wait for formal interviews to communicate with your child's teacher. We value your questions, your queries and your input. We also value positive feedback.
If you wish to discuss your child with the teacher, please phone the school office for an appointment.
Quite frequently we will send out a Google Forms Survey link via Facebook, Class Dojo and Skool Loop, asking our families for input on specific topics/areas. We endeavour to keep all consultation surveys quick and painless. We recommend you take the time to complete these as we do take into account your 'voice' and it is important to us that you have your say.

Maihiihi School has two major fundraisers per year.
Around March/April we hold a Motorbike Trail Ride and at calving time we have a Slink Run where families are rostered on to pick up the dead calves.
These two ventures raise approximately $20,000 extra funds for our school which benefits all our children.
The Fundraising Committee at Maihiihi School are always looking for new members. We appreciate your assistance with all our fundraising events.
